RAINFOREST ALLIANCE
The CMA was the first feedlot in Brazil to win the Rainforest Alliance certification seal, a program with robust criteria, measurements and impacts, featuring several important innovations that incorporate tools to support farmers and establish clear sustainability goals, in addition to concentrating investments from improvements to positive impacts for people and nature. CMA strictly adheres to these conditions imposed by the Rainforest Alliance certification, a worldwide seal that encompasses agricultural production in tropical countries such as Brazil and guarantees a sustainable management system.
GREEN SEAL
The green seal represents a link between the manufacturer and the consumer. It serves as identification for products that cause less impact on the environment. The seal is an informative parameter for products that are within environmental specifications. The green seal emerged from governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), mainly those in Europe. Based on this action, a set of norms was created to protect tropical forests based on international agreements.
ALLIANCE OF THE EARTH
The Aliança da Terra seal, awarded by Confinamento Monte Alegre, identifies products with a socio-environmental responsibility record, reflecting good production practices, adequate management of natural resources and respectful working conditions, evaluated by the environmental, social and productive profiles.
